Emirates A380 Delhi Flights Start October 25

Published:

Emirates A380 Delhi flights will begin on October 25, 2026, making the Indian capital the airline’s third A380 destination in India after Mumbai and Bengaluru. The move also brings Premium Economy onto every daily Emirates service between Dubai and Delhi.

For UAE travellers with family, business or holiday plans in India, the change is more than an aircraft swap. It means more cabin choice on one of Emirates’ most important India routes.

What Changes On The Delhi Route

The A380 will operate on flights EK512 and EK513 in a four-class configuration. Emirates will also use retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft with four cabin classes across its three other daily Delhi services.

That means passengers on the Dubai-Delhi route will have access to four cabin classes across all daily flights. Premium Economy will be available on the A380-operated EK513 and on Boeing 777-operated EK511, EK515 and EK517.

Premium Economy Expands Across India

By the end of October, Emirates Premium Economy will be available to six Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Kochi. The rollout will use a mix of Airbus A380, Airbus A350 and four-class Boeing 777 aircraft.

The seat is designed for travellers who want more comfort than Economy without moving all the way to Business Class. Emirates highlights cream leather seats, extra legroom, more recline, upgraded dining and added amenities.

Kolkata Also Gets A Boost

Kolkata is part of the India upgrade. From October 25, the daily EK570 and EK571 service will move to Emirates’ next-generation A350, while EK572 and EK573 will operate five times weekly on a four-class retrofitted Boeing 777.

That change will make Premium Economy available across all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai. It also gives India travellers more consistency when comparing dates and fares.

How Many India Flights Will Have Premium Economy?

By late October, travellers can book Premium Economy on four daily services from Delhi, 12 weekly flights from Kolkata, 22 weekly flights from Mumbai, nine weekly flights from Ahmedabad, seven weekly flights from Bengaluru and two weekly flights from Kochi.

Emirates serves nine gateways in India and operates 167 weekly flights to Dubai, with onward connections across a global network of nearly 140 destinations. That scale makes the India rollout important for Dubai-based passengers and connecting travellers.

Why This Matters For UAE-India Travel

India is one of Dubai’s busiest travel corridors. More Premium Economy seats can help families, business travellers and long-haul connecting passengers find a middle option when Economy feels too tight and Business Class is too expensive.

Other Customer Experience Updates

Emirates is also expanding support on the ground. The airline has opened retail travel stores in Delhi and Mumbai, with stores in Hyderabad and Bengaluru planned, plus a dedicated call centre in Mumbai.

On board, Indian routes include regionally inspired menus and cabin crew language support across Hindi and selected regional languages. The inflight entertainment library also includes Bollywood and regional-language content.

The main takeaway is clear: Emirates A380 Delhi flights will give the route more capacity and a stronger premium cabin mix. For passengers booking India trips after October 25, checking aircraft type and cabin availability will be worth the extra minute.
