    Red Bull smashed it with Sound Clash!

    Red Bull hosted it’s first South Asian music battle in Dubai World Trade Center on Friday, November 28th 2014 featuring Pakistan’s most mature band STRINGS and India’s sensation band Euphoria. The contest was tough, however the concept was unique and appreciated by the crowd from both rivalry countries.

    Red Bull went all out making sure there’s no compromise in sound, stage and event management, by setting up 2 stages on either side of the hall and one stage in the middle for the hosts. The host from Pakistan was Fakhr e Alam, who’s also a singer and famous tv personality and from India’s end they picked up City 101.6’s RJ Sidhart, who entertained the crowd with his humor. Both the bands were asked to play 3 original songs followed by a 5 round competition between each other. The surprise of the night was the wild card, which definitely made the crowd go wild. Sagrika, an Indian singer came on stage for Strings and Pakistan’s Qurutlain Balouch, who sang the famous Humsafar also came from India’s Euphoria side and joined them with their song, Maeeri which they dedicated to the motherland of Pakistan and India.

    The grand finale had both the bands sing the famous Junoon’s song Yaaro Yehi Dosti Hai followed by a medly of Bollywood songs for friendship between the two countries. There’s was a time during the show when the lead vocalist from Euphoria tear up on stage and said there’s no difference between Indian and Pakistan, and music is the only source that can break these boundaries.
