Story of a heartbroken Delhi girl (Kanga Ranaut) who overcomes rejection from her fiancée by deciding to go ahead with a planned honeymoon … all by herself. With stunning performance and impressive dialogue delivery, Kanga Ranaut’s Queen will have the audience breaking into continuous laughter.

The decorations are up, the henna painting is yet to dry from the silky smooth palms, and people are dancing full of joy. Kanga Ranaut, a simple girl with low self-esteem, is hours away from her dream fairytale wedding when her fiancée, Raajkumar Roa, breaks her heart by calling off the wedding. Traumatized and heartbroken, she sets out on her solo honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam. On her journey of self-discovery, she encounters a lot of things for the first time, teaching her valuable lessons from life. She befriends people, tries new food, visits nightclubs and is enjoying her solo honeymoon. Eventually, all journeys come to an end but, how will this end for a girl once left heartbroken just moments from her big day?

A stunning performance from Kanga Ranaut who continuously shines in Queen. Lisa Haydon compliments her role exceptionally well, along with Mish Boyko, Jeffrey Ho and Joseph Guitobh: Ranaut’s on-screen friends. It is difficult to pick out a particular scene of interest as there are multiple scenes that standout from the film. Hungama remix is the pick of the songs. The costumes are average but fitting to the character Ranaut plays. It is worth mentioning, there is no clarity as to why Raajkumar Rao calls off the wedding especially when he is the one who woos Ranaut.

Three-point-nine out of five rating for a film which will be thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. Kanga Ranaut is certainly the queen in a film you will not want to leave your seat. Highly entertaining and great value for money.
