Amplifier singer Imran Khan to sing in Sanjay Kapoor’s Tevar
The Arjun Kapoor – Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Tevar’, produced by Sanjay Kapoor has just got bigger with the introduction of Pakistani singer Imran Khan, who hit stardom with songs like ‘Amplifier’, ‘Bewaffa’ and ‘Billo’.
Tevar is an upcoming Indian action drama film directed by Amit Sharma & written by Gunasekhar, The film stars ArjunKapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles. It is a remake of director Gunasekhar‘s 2003 Telugu film Okkadu, starring Mahesh Babu & Bhoomika Chawla The film is set to release on December 5, 2014.
The shooting of the action film began on 21 January 2014 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The film will also be shot at different locations in Mumbai, Maheshwar, Agra, Mathura and
Akluj (Solapur,Maharashtra) .The first look of the movie was released on 19 February 2014.
Dubai Bliss reports that Khan will be composing and singing the song and the video, which will also feature the film’s leads.According to Kapoor, this song was important because it is supposedly the USP of the film. He also decided to rope in Imran because he believes that the singer has a larger fan base majorly consisting of the youth and hence, he can connect to the audience well.
So after the success of Yo Yo Honey Singh, Bollywood is bracing itself for another international sensation!
Imran Khan is a Pakistani-Dutch singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. He rose to fame in 2007 after the success of his first single “Ni Nachleh.” Khan was born and raised in The Hague to Pakistani Punjabi parents from Gujranwala in Punjab.
